Abstract

Considering the capabilities of generative AI to engage in interactions and provide answers to diverse queries, its influence on conventional educational systems is significant. This has led to mixed reactions, with some educational institutions hesitating to integrate AI into classrooms. However, the advent of AI in education is inevitable and demands prompt attention. It is imperative to develop new educational assessments and learning methodologies that incorporate AI effectively. AI holds the potential to be an invaluable asset for students eager to expand their knowledge, offering guidance and elucidation of complex concepts. Conversely, for students whose primary goal is merely to pass exams, AI might become a means to complete assignments with minimal personal learning. This dichotomy suggests a future where society is divided into those proficient in collaborating with AI and those who lag behind. Such a divide could exacerbate social disparities. Therefore, it is critical for the education system to undergo immediate transformation to ensure that the majority of students are equipped to both work with and learn from AI.
